Coffee has always been a passion of ours and anywhere we go we’re on the hunt for a quality cup of joe. After much searching and tasting we finally decided the best way to get that perfect cup would be to roast our own coffee here! We began roasting in 2002 and since then have come up with our own roasts and signature blends. We feature mostly organic coffees as well as Fair Trade and Rain Forest Alliance. These days we know where to get a great cup of coffee and we don’t have to travel to get it. Mountain Market and Ripinsky Coffee Roasters have become known for great coffee in Haines, and now we can offer it to our out-of-town friends via mail order.

Our coffee pricing has recently changed. There are many factors for this change. Coffee consumption has increased in coffee growing countries, so they have less to ship out to the USA. Farmers are aging out of farming. Climate change is affecting production, causing farmers to start growing other crops. Shipping options consolidated during the pandemic causing some shipping options to disappear and they haven’t returned. And tariffs have affected pricing. We are having issues sourcing coffee from our importers so we have fewer options as well. We will update the website as we get more coffees arriving this Summer.
